Hi, my name is Keith Payne. and I am a 59 year old woman, LOL. Yep, a woman named Keith. But, don't let that fool you. I love my work and take great care with each item.
My parents and I recently bought a house and a few acres. I used to live on 22 acres with two spring fed ponds, so it was a big change. I, with lots of help from my friends, built a fence for my horse, Carat, 2 dogs, Baby Dump and Snoopy, and a goose named Goose. Sometimes I have some Humane Society and Feral Cat Society foster animals. I built the fence specifically so that I could keep "climber" and "digger" dogs. You will see some of them in the item pictures. Shakey, my smallest little rescue kitty, "personally" checks out each and every item I build.
A while back, I had to send my 14 year old
beloved dog, Pick-up, across the Rainbow
Bridge. It is her picture, "The Old Girl"
that you click on in this site to return to the top of the page
She was my best friend. I very much miss her still.
We live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and there are 20 miles between us and a grocery store in any direction.

I, at the age of 46, decided to "chuck it all" and learn how to remodel houses and work with wood. I have enjoyed wood working all my life. So, I signed on with a small general contractor and did it all. I can now operate a large extendahoe to dig footings and go on from there until the roof is on, the interior is finished, and the folks move in. Hopefully, one day, I will do it all for my own house.
At the age of 52, (due to the slow down in the construction business around here, and the fact that I was not getting any younger, LOL), I became interested in crafting quality pet furniture from wood, not plastic, plywood, or the like. I saw a need for beds, houses, and litter box hiders that would match the decor of a nice house, not cheapen it. So, there we have it.
I hope you have enjoyed my website and have perhaps found something that you would like to have for your babies. I do a great deal of custom work, so.......let me know if there is something you would like that is not shown here.
Thanks for visiting us............Have a good one, Keith
